- An even better source for data about distribution and abundance is the newly published book Threatened Birds of Asia»; The BirdLife International Red Data Book which is edited by N. J. Collar (Editor-in-chief), A.V. Andreev, S. Chan, M. J. Crosby, S. Subramanya and J. A. Tobias. This gives an excellent and updated status on distribution, population, ecology, threats and conservation status for the species in this part of the world.
- Another very important source for information about LWfG and not the least for conservation of Anatidae in East Asia is the Anatidae Site Network in the East Asian Flyway Official Homepage».
