Action plans

• The International Action Plan» for the Lesser White-fronted Goose (Anser erythropus), published by Council of Europe in 1996 deals with the whole distributional area. It is a must for all working with Lessers.

• An action Plan for the Conservation of Migratory Anatidae in the East Asian Flyway: 2001-2005» was prepared by the Anatidae Working Group, Asia-Pacific Migratory Waterbird Conservation Committee.

• The Norwegian action plan for geese is available here». The file is very large (10MB) and can be downloaded following the link called "Handlingsplan for forvaltning av gjess". It was published by the Norwegian Directorate for Nature Management in 1996 (in Norwegian with extended English summary.).
